Ryde, NSW

A forward thinking school in Ryde ordered a wheelchair accessible garden bed via Ryde Council's "Edible Gardens in Schools" Project.

The garden beds are designed to be full accessible from both sides by a wheelchair, whilst still providing a water reservoir in the base for wicking.

These are the only wheelchair accessible wicking beds that we could find any record of globally, and having met the NSW accessibility standards we are very pleased with the design.
