Eastwood Height Public School got a sustainability grant to install 3 large wicking beds for educational purposes.
These will not require watering over the school holidays, and act as a valuable teaching aid.
They added in some vermi-compostors to allow worms to self-fertlise the beds with scraps discarded when harvesting.
