We made this bed to be entered in a charity auction at a fundraiser for Kingsway Care in Hurstville.

The lucky winner was a gentleman in Cronulla.

He asked us to place it out the front of his house as he intends to use it to grow herbs for the community, with a sign inviting community members to help themselves to produce!

Can't wait to see this bursting with herbs for the local community!

Herbs do especially well in a compact raised planter like this, and in Cronulla's mild coastal climate a sunny front-garden spot will keep rosemary, thyme, parsley, mint and chives going almost year-round.
