A forward thinking global accountancy company in Sydney engaged us to install 4 beds on a 7th floor terrace. Staff will be able to try their hand at growing veggies whilst closing the loop on their kitchen composting.

Our raised beds are fully lined so perfect for installation on balconies, courtyards and other hard surfaces, as overflow can be directed if necessary, and nothing seeps through the bottom of the beds.

Although not the most sunny of spots, they plan to grow vegetables that are less fussy about sun such as potato, herbs, onions, beetroots, carrots etc.

City rooftops and terraces are well suited to raised beds, and a small garden can become a genuine drawcard for staff in the Sydney CBD. Fully lined for safe rooftop installation, these beds give an office a productive, hands-on green space without the drainage worries an open bed would bring.

Chosen to suit a partly shaded city aspect, the planting leans on reliable, less sun-hungry crops, and the reservoir keeps everything watered with little upkeep. Kiln-dried and food-safe, the timber is built to last years on a city rooftop. If your workplace in the Sydney CBD or inner city would like a productive terrace garden for staff, we'd love to help you plan it.

Ready to grow?  Call 0433 971 751, email info@urbanveg.com.au  or request a callback and we will help you plan your beds.
