A friendly lady in Gymea Bay commissioned us to install a U-shaped bed to replace an old one that had been made using standard treated pine. The old bed had rotted, split and was not in good shape. However, the timber we use is sienna treated to be veg-safe, and is fully lined. We lock every plank in from two directions to ensure nothing moves, and the bed ages well. The colour is given by Iron Oxide and ages beautifully.

The lady wanted a U-shaped bed to be able to easily reach - she also requested a slightly higher bed than standard to reduce bending.

We can't wait to see it bursting with abundant vegetables!
