These customers wanted two self watering wicking beds on their driveway to make best use of that northern sun in winter.

We dug down to ensure the sub-irrigation reservoir was level.

Both beds can be filled by a hose attached to the base, but can also be linked together to enable the top one to overflow into the bottom.

Wicking beds retain more nutrients and encourage deeper root growth leading to more veg!

In the hot, dry Green Valley climate, a self-watering raised bed keeps deeper roots cool and supplied through the long Western Sydney summers, so the garden keeps producing on a fraction of the watering an in-ground patch would need.
